THE FOUNDATION > MEDICAL CENTER

CONCEPT

The objective of the medical department is the welfare of the child. It assures his medical and psychological follow up and acts also as an intermediary for the family e.g. the opportunity to help via a micro credit.

ORGANISATION

ON ‘CENTER’ LEVEL

All centers are equiped with an infirmary and in there a doctor takes up several duties over the week.

Once a year each child passes a medical check-up in order to determine his state of health in general and to control more specifically his visual and auditive capacities together with his bucco dental condition.

In case of a pathology compelling a more specialized approach the child will be orientated to a regional medical center or to a specialist doctor partner of the school.

ON ‘REGIONAL’ LEVEL

One medical center covers the needs of the same province e.g. objective of 20 schools over the province of CEARA.
A doctor, a dentist and a nurse are working full time in it.

Psychological support is also assured.

ON ‘COUNTRY’ LEVEL

The P.O.U. Foundation has the ambition to construct its own hospital in colaboration with the medical infrastrucure of the countrie, e.g. the project of the GUAYUBA hospital (prov. Of CEARA).

Concept

Le département médical se fixe comme objectif le bien-être de
l'enfant . Il assure bien sûr son suivi médical et psychologique, mais se veut aussi un interlocuteur de la famille, avec des possibilités d'aide par crédits de type micro-financement par exemple.

ORGANISATION DU DEPARTEMENT MEDICAL

AU NIVEAU DU CENTRE
Les centres sont dotés d'un dispensaire au sein duquel un médecin assure plusieurs permanences tout au long de la semaine .
Une fois par an, chaque enfant passe une visite médicale afin de déterminer son état de santé général , pratiquer un contrôle de son acuité visuelle et auditive et vérifier son état bucco-dentaire.
Si une pathologie nécessite une prise en charge plus specialisée,
l'enfant est orienté vers le centre médical régional POU ou vers un centre médical partenaire.

AU NIVEAU REGIONAL
Le centre médical régional couvre les besoins des centres d'une même province (p.ex. pour les 20 centres programmés autour de CAUCAIA sur la province de CEARA, le centre médical régional est prévu à PECEM) .
Un medecin, un dentiste et une infirmière y travaillent à temps plein.
Un soutien psychologique est également assuré.

AU NIVEAU DU PAYS
La fondation POU a pour ambition la construction de son propre centre hospitalier, en collaboration avec les autorités gouvernementales ( p.ex. pour le BRESIL, projet de clinique a GUAYUBA, prov. de CEARA).

Centro Médico

Conceito

O objetivo do departamento medico é o bem estar da criança. Ele assegura seu acompanhamento psicológico e medico e atua também como um intermediário da família. Ex. A oportunidade de ajudar via um micro crédito.

Organização

Em nível “Central”

Todos os centros são equipados com uma enfermaria e lá um médico ocupa-se em vários deveres durante a semana.

Uma vez por semana cada criança passa por um check-up médico afim de determinar seu estado de saúde no geral e controlar mais especificamente suas capacidades auditivas e visuais juntamente com sua condição dentária.

Em caso de uma patologia necessitando uma aproximação mais especializada, a criança será encaminhada para um centro regional médico ou para um parceiro médico especialista da escola.

Em nível `Regional`
Um centro médico cobrirá as necessidades da mesma província. Ex. Objetivo de 20 escolas por toda a província do Ceará.

Um médico, um dentista e uma enfermeira estarão trabalhando nisto.

Em nível ‘interior‘

A fundação P.O.U. tem a ambição de construir seu próprio hospital em colaboração com uma infraestrutura médica do interior, ex. O projeto do hospital de Guaiuba (interior do Ceará)
